Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and independent Recruitment & HR Generalist to manage the entire HR function, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management. This is a key role for someone who enjoys working independently, implementing HR best practices, and contributing to the growth of a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and closing offers.
  • Build a talent pipeline through networking, referrals, job portals, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and ensure timely hiring.

2. HR Operations

  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, and exit processes.
  • Maintain HR records, attendance, and employee database in HRMS/spreadsheets.
  • Handle payroll coordination, leave management, and statutory compliance documentation.

3. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Design and execute engagement activities, recognition programs, and communication drives.
  • Support a positive work culture and promote HR policies.

4. Performance & Compliance

  • Coordinate probation confirmations, performance reviews, and appraisal cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in Recruitment and HR operations, preferably in IT/technology companies.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRMS tools.
