Role Overview

HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Handle

  end-to-end recruitment

  for technical and non-technical roles (site engineers, project managers, support staff, etc.).
• Coordinate with project/site heads for manpower planning and deployment.
  
• Manage bulk hiring and subcontractor workforce recruitment when required.
  

HR Operations & Compliance

• Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  
• Handle

  onboarding, induction, confirmation, and exit formalities

  .
• Manage

  PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other statutory compliance

  related to the construction sector.
• Support payroll inputs and coordinate with the finance team.
  

Employee Engagement & Welfare

• Organize welfare programs, safety awareness sessions, and engagement activities for site staff and labor.
  
• Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution.
  
• Implement POSH policies, code of conduct, and disciplinary procedures.
  

Performance Management & Training

• Support annual performance appraisal process.
  
• Identify training needs and coordinate technical/soft skills training for employees.
  
• Facilitate career development discussions at project and site levels.
  

Site HR & Administration

• Act as HR SPOC for project sites, coordinating between corporate HR and site management.
  
• Ensure

  labor law compliance

  at construction sites.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and local authorities as needed.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  labor laws, statutory compliance, and construction industry HR practices

  .
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to manage site-level challenges and workforce diversity.
  
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS/ERP systems.
