Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

Process end-to-end payroll, including salary calculation, deductions and benefits.
Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries.
Maintain payroll records and generate reports.

Compliance Management: ESIC, EPF, PT

Ensure compliance with labor laws, taxation rules and other statutory obligations.
Handle Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT) and Income Tax (TDS) filings.
Keep up-to-date with labor laws, amendments and compliance regulations.

Employee Benefits & Compensation:

Administer employee benefits such as bonuses, incentives, and reimbursements.
Address employee queries related to salary, deductions and tax calculations.

Audit & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions.
Assist in internal and external audits.
Ensure proper documentation of employee records and compliance filings.

HR Policies & Support:

Assist in drafting and updating HR policies related to payroll and compliance.
Support HR operations in matters related to employment laws and grievances.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR compliance.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in payroll processing or labor law compliance.
Experience in HRMS software.
