Modern Transport Corporation is a leading name in the logistics and transportation industry, known for its robust network, operational efficiency, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are expanding our HR team and seeking a dedicated HR Executive for our Aligarh location to support and manage employee-related functions at the branch level.

Job Summary:

HR Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations & Coordination

    • Be the first point of contact for all employees at the Aligarh branch.
    • Handle day-to-day queries and concerns raised by drivers, staff, and operational team members.
    • Conduct regular interactions and pulse checks to maintain a healthy work environment.
    • Resolve employee grievances timely and escalate critical matters to HO HR if needed.
  • Attendance & Leave Management

    • Maintain daily attendance and shift records of all branch employees.
    • Track leaves, absenteeism, and ensure timely reporting to HO for payroll processing.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Coordinate with the central HR team for manpower requirements.
    • Assist in the recruitment of ground-level staff (drivers, loaders, helpers, etc.)
    • Conduct onboarding and orientation of new joiners at the branch.
  • Documentation & Compliance

    • Maintain and update employee records, ID proofs, license copies (for drivers), etc.
    • Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with company standards.
  • Performance Monitoring & Discipline

    • Observe work performance and punctuality of employees.
    • Report repeated misconduct or indiscipline and recommend action if necessary.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare

    • Conduct small-scale engagement activities to boost morale.
    • Share feedback with the central HR team on local employee needs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of HR experience (experience in logistics, transport, or manufacturing setup preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with employees from varied backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and handle on-ground HR tasks confidently.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic HR software tools.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and statutory requirements is an added advantage.
