Job Title: Godown Supervisor/ Computer Operator Location: Chennai Industry: Transport Experience Required: 3 to 5 Years Gender: Male / Female Age Range: 28 – 40 Years Languages: Hindi, Kannada Job Summary: We are seeking a disciplined and responsible Godown Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our warehouse/godown. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in handling inventory, bookings, dispatches, deliveries, and labour coordination within the transport or logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day godown operations including stock keeping, bookings, loading/unloading, and dispatch management Coordinate with delivery teams, transport partners, and account teams for timely and accurate shipments Oversee labour management and ensure efficient handling of goods Maintain inventory records, documentation, and support real-time data/reporting using basic computer tools Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards in the godown Monitor local transport arrangements and ensure timely pick-up/delivery Take accountability for stock accuracy, loss prevention, and timely follow-ups Preferred Candidate Profile: Experience in warehouse/godown operations or roles such as Delivery Coordinator, Godown Executive, Supervisor, Stores & Material Management, etc. Basic knowledge of computers and documentation Strong attention to detail, leadership, and the ability to manage teams Ability to communicate in Hindi and Kannada (Basic English preferred) If you are dedicated, organized, and have a strong sense of responsibility, we would love to hear from you.
