Human Resource Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and on boarding processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and new hire orientation.

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll coordination, and respond promptly to employee inquiries.
• Ensure strict compliance with all statutory labor laws, including but not limited to: o Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws o Leave entitlements (e.g., FMLA, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave) o Social security, provident fund, gratuity, and other statutory benefits
• Prepare and file all statutory reports and returns on time as required by law.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes and records to ensure statutory compliance.
• Support employee relations by addressing grievances, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
• Assist with performance management, training programs, and employee development initiatives.
• Participate in policy development and update HR manuals to reflect changes in labor laws.
• Coordinate exit interviews and off boarding in compliance with legal requirements.
• Generate HR metrics and reports for management review.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a focus on statutory compliance.

• Strong knowledge of local and federal labor laws and regulations.

• Experience with payroll and benefits administration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
