The Asst. Manager will be responsible for managing the company's overall accounting. He/she will be reporting to the Director of the company. The Asst. Managers responsibilities include accurate and timely maintenance of data, and all legal compliances should be completed within the prescribed time limit. Job Title: Formulator Pesticides Division Location: Khambha, Rajkot Company: Aquarius Chemicals Limited Department: Production / R&D / Formulation Reporting To: Production Head Job Objective: To ensure effective formulation of agrochemical products (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, PGRs, bio-products etc.) as per FCO & CIB norms, production planning, quality standards, safety and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: 1. Formulation Development & Execution Execute and supervise the formulation of liquid, powder and granule-based agrochemical products. Handle pre-mix preparation, batch preparation and blending activities as per SOPs. Ensure accurate quantity of technical and solvents in formulations as per approved Bill of Materials (BOM). Maintain product stability and batch uniformity. 2. Production Coordination Plan day-to-day formulation activities based on production targets. Coordinate with the production, QA/QC and warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of raw materials and packaging. Monitor filling line activities and support supervisors and labor teams technically if any issue arises during production. 3. Regulatory & Documentation Ensure formulations are done only as per approved CIB registration / licensing norms. Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMR), formulation logs and material consumption sheets. Coordinate with R&D or regulatory team for any new formulation requirements or changes. 4. Quality Control & Troubleshooting Collaborate with QC to ensure batch quality consistency and handle any deviations. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to formulation like separation, settling, pH imbalance etc. Suggest improvements in formulation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cost. 5. Inventory, Costing & Safety Monitor the consumption and availability of raw materials, technicals and solvents. Send formulation costing to the Marketing Department on a monthly basis and as & when required in case of any changes in input cost or formulation structure. Ensure chemical handling is done with utmost care following safety protocols (PPE usage, MSDS compliance). Participate in internal safety audits and comply with environment & safety guidelines. Candidate Profile: Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry / Agrochemicals / Industrial Chemistry) Experience: Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in a pesticides / agrochemical’s formulation plant Sound knowledge of various formulations such as EC, SC, WP, WDG, SL, GR, etc. Skills Required: Strong understanding of formulation techniques, chemical properties, and compatibility Ability to read and understand technical datasheets and CIB documents Good command of batch documentation and production software (if used) Problem-solving attitude with quick decision-making ability Team management and communication skills Additional Notes: Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in reputed pesticides manufacturing units. Candidate must be flexible with shift timings based on production load.
