Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for domestic and international operations.
  • Create job descriptions, post openings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the selection process.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Manage employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Ensure smooth offboarding and exit formalities.

HR Policy Development & Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, Shops & Establishment Acts, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Support management in grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution.

Performance & Employee Engagement:

  • Implement a performance management system, appraisals, and promotions.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and wellness programs.

Payroll & Benefits Coordination:

  • Collaborate with payroll teams or vendors to ensure accurate salary disbursement and benefits management.
  • Maintain leave management, attendance, and statutory deduction records.

HR Reporting & Analytics:

  • Maintain HR metrics and dashboards (attrition, headcount, recruitment stats, etc.).
  • Provide management reports and insights for workforce planning and decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience working with IT/service-based companies that have foreign clients.
  • I possess a comprehensive understanding of international HR practices, including remote onboarding, cross-border hiring, and visa compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • 5–10 years’ experience in an HR generalist or HR lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, payroll, statutory compliance, and HR processes.
  • Experience with HR software/HRMS platforms (Zoho People).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information professionally
