Job Description

Role Overview:

This is a generalist HR role responsible for executing the full spectrum of Human Resource functions in an organization where HR specialists are not fully deployed. The role covers talent acquisition, talent development, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, HR compliance, and operations. The incumbent will work closely with leadership to implement HR policies, drive employee engagement, and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Train hiring managers on interview techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to recruitment policies and compliance standards.

2. HR Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure HR compliance with company policies, procedures, and local labor laws.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

3. Process & Operations Management

  • Partner with business teams to execute key HR processes and initiatives.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts.
  • Manage employee lifecycle events including onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations, and offboarding.
  • Maintain and update HR systems to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments.

4. Employee Engagement & Performance Management

  • Advise, coach, and train managers on performance management processes.
  • Assist in annual performance appraisal and bonus cycles.
  • Implement employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, etc.).
  • Liaise with external vendors, recruitment agencies, and auditors.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification (B-School preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant HR generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and current industry trends.
  • Proficiency in employment legislation and HR compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, persuasion, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
