Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) to join our team in the jewelry retail . This role is crucial to our success, as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and professional development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for cultivating a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending offers. Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that ensures new hires feel welcomed and prepared for their roles.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies. Mediate conflicts and guide employees and managers through difficult situations with empathy and discretion.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, providing guidance to managers on setting clear goals, giving constructive feedback, and recognizing high performance. Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll, administer employee benefits, and ensure our compensation structures remain competitive within the luxury retail market.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop programs that enhance employee skills, particularly in areas like sales, customer service, and product knowledge relevant to the jewelry industry.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure the company's HR practices comply with all local, state, and federal labor laws. Maintain accurate employee records and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of HR experience.
  • Previous experience in the jewelry, luxury retail, or a related high-end sales environment is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of Provident Fund (PF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI) regulations is a core requirement.
