Job Summary:

HR Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for all employees (monthly, bi-weekly, etc.).
• Maintain payroll data including earnings, deductions, and taxes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Coordinate with HR for employee status changes (new hires, terminations, promotions).
• Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and tax forms.
• Prepare and file payroll-related reports (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports.
• Collaborate with Finance for month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate and distribute pay slips, Form 16, and other statutory documents.
• Assist in audits and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Masters degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 24 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in [industry]..
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and HRIS systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling multi-state or international payrolls.
• Knowledge of employee benefits and labor laws.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 9,894.50 - 34,589.98 per month
