Key Responsibilities: - Provide HR support across the site and country, aligning with global and local functional people strategies - Advise on local labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and addressing employee and labor relations issues - Resolve complex problems using in-depth HR knowledge and strategic thinking, providing feedback to HR Solutions - Lead or participate in country or regional projects, serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues and collaborating with peers for project execution - Explain difficult or sensitive information, handle people issues, and work towards building consensus - Analyze information from multiple sources, evaluate solutions, and ensure performance impacts a range of clients, projects, and activities within the team and related teams Qualifications: - Bachelors/masters degree in human resources with 8+ years of experience as an HR Partner - Experience in a multi-national organization is critical Preferred Skills: - Ability to think and act strategically to support employee-related matters - Manage multiple stakeholders at global, regional, and local levels - Handle conflict resolution and lead courageously in difficult situations, with a strong knowledge of labor compliance and relations - Demonstrated exceptional communication abilities in effectively engaging with stakeholders and employees - Foundational knowledge in conducting need analysis, facilitating training programs, and analyzing post-training feedback - Develop solutions in ambiguous situations and possess a global mindset - Analyze and present HR/Employee data using software like MS Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint In the context of Dow Chemical International Private Limited (Dow India), the company is committed to being the most innovative, sustainable, and inclusive customer-centric materials science company.
