Job Description

As an HR Administrator at Corning, your role is crucial in ensuring the administration of HR programs, processes, and policies that establish and reinforce Corning Values and maintain a positive work environment while complying with legal and regulatory requirements. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving the company and the world forward through your daily efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Administer change management strategies to support successful implementation of HR initiatives. - Implement HR programs, processes, and policies in compliance with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring alignment with Corning Values. - Research external market practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to meet corporate, business, function, and employee needs. - Gather and analyze data on the performance and impact of HR programs, processes, and policies, highlighting areas for improvement and creating reports and presentations. - Develop and maintain subject matter expertise through independent research and participation in professional groups. - Recommend areas for standardization of HR programs to reduce complexity and associated costs. - Identify trends and technologies to improve strategic objectives. - Build HR reputation through value-added interactions with customers. - Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and establish stronger vendor relationships. - Educate colleagues and customer groups on proper use of HR systems and ensure data integrity. - Provide ad hoc support and feedback on HR programs. Qualifications Required: - Associates degree in Human Resources, Business/Business Administration, or equivalent qualification/experience. Qualifications Desired: - 1-3 years of combined HR/Admin experience or equivalent. - Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or HR certifications. - Work experience in administrative and project roles. - Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PeopleSoft. - Successful track record in HR or Business process administration. - Experience in partnering with external providers/vendors. - Continuous process/product improvement skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. - Handling sensitive information confidentially. - Basic proficiency in verbal and written English language skills.,
