HR Operations Analyst

As an HR Operations Support professional at Jefferies Financial Group Inc., your role will involve working from the Mumbai, India office as part of the Global HR Operations team. You will be responsible for various HR operational activities throughout the full employee lifecycle, collaborating closely with HR colleagues in Europe, Asia, and the US. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating, updating, and maintaining employee records within the HR system. - Managing background checks for new joiners and rescreens. - Providing immigration support for new joiners and extensions. - Handling offboarding processes. - Monitoring a central HR mailbox and taking necessary actions on emails. - Preparing employee letters and documents using templates for the HR team. - Coordinating HR invoice processing with the Finance team. - Collaborating with the HR Tech team for system issues, mass uploads, or automation requests. - Serving as a point of contact for troubleshooting employee data impacting firmwide directory and other communication channels. - Ensuring data integrity by conducting system reviews to maintain consistency of information. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1 - 2 years of experience in managing HR support activities. - Proficiency in written and spoken English. - Strong excel skills. - Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail. - Proactive problem-solving skills and ownership of initiatives. - Capability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations. - Effective teamwork, initiative demonstration, and contribution of ideas and recommendations. - Professional and adaptable approach with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
