Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Senior HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations in a technology-driven, project-based environment. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The person in this role will work closely with leadership to shape workforce strategies, strengthen employee engagement, and support business growth through effective people practices.

Key Responsibilities

Talent & Workforce Management


  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and drive strategic hiring plans

  • Oversee onboarding, deployment, and workforce planning aligned with project requirements

  • Manage utilization, bench strength, and future skill development initiatives


Performance Management & Development


  • Lead performance review cycles and ensure alignment of KRAs and KPIs with business goals

  • Support managers with coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans

  • Design and implement learning programs covering technical, leadership, and soft skills


HR Operations & Compliance


  • Manage core HR operations including attendance, payroll coordination, HRIS, and documentation

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, and POSH

  • Support internal and external audits and continuously improve HR policies and processes


Employee Engagement & Retention


  • Drive engagement initiatives to build a positive and high-performing work culture

  • Conduct employee feedback sessions, skip-level meetings, and engagement surveys

  • Analyze attrition trends and create retention strategies for critical talent


Strategic HR Initiatives


  • Work with leadership on culture-building and organizational development initiatives

  • Use HR analytics and dashboards for data-driven decision-making

  • Support HR transformation, digital initiatives, and process improvements


Skills & Qualifications

Must Have


  • Graduation from a reputed institution; MBA in HR is an advantage

  • Strong experience in HR operations within IT services or technology environments

  • In-depth understanding of HR policies, employee engagement, and compliance

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and HR analytics tools

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills

  • Creative and practical approach to employee engagement and employer branding


Preferred


  • Experience managing a geographically distributed or global workforce

  • Exposure to international compliance standards and audit frameworks

  • Background in employer branding and employee advocacy initiatives
