HR Executive (Payroll Specialist)

As an HR professional, you will be responsible for maintaining employee attendance, leave, and overtime records. You will also need to coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely salary disbursement. Handling full & final settlements, gratuity, and bonus calculations will be a key part of your role. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with various labour laws such as PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, etc. This will involve filing statutory returns, managing inspections/notices, and staying updated with amendments in labour laws and HR-related regulations. Keeping statutory registers and documentation up to date will also be part of your responsibilities. Recruitment and onboarding activities will be another important aspect of your job. You will need to understand manpower requirements, create job descriptions, source candidates through various channels, conduct screenings and interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers. Managing offer letters, appointment letters, and onboarding formalities will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will support induction and orientation programs for new employees. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. A good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a high attention to detail and confidentiality, are also required. Key attributes that will help you succeed in this role include being proactive and self-driven, possessing strong organizational and time management skills, and having the ability to handle multiple responsibilities under deadlines.
