Company Overview:

Position Summary:

The HR Deputy Manager will be responsible for setting up and managing the HR function at the new plant in Badli Village, Jhajjar. This role will support all aspects of HRfrom policy implementation to workforce planningand serve as a key liaison between local plant operations and regional/global HR leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Setup and Operational Leadership

  • Establish end-to-end HR processes aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key HR point-of-contact for the India plants leadership during construction, commissioning, and operations.

Statutory Compliance and Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and factory rules in Haryana.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and support union or workforce discussions where applicable.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Lead hiring across functionsengineering, operations, administration, etc.—as the plant ramps up.
  • Develop onboarding frameworks for both permanent and contractual workforce.

Learning & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs for plant employees.
  • Support internal mobility and employee development initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Work with regional HR to administer local C&B programs in compliance with Indian labor laws and company standards.

Plant HR Administration

  • Manage attendance, time office, payroll coordination, contractor management, and welfare facilities (canteen, transport, EHS).
  • Supervise HRMS implementation and local records management.

Change Management and Communication

  • Support organizational change during plant setup, production trials, and scaling phases.
  • Drive internal communication to align teams with business goals.

Project Support

  • Participate in audits, client visits, and vendor negotiations for HR-related plant setup activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Tier-1 automotive or electronics.
  • In-depth understanding of Haryana labor laws, contract labor management, and factory HR.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Jhajjar plant full-time.
