Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Manage the

    end-to-end recruitment process

    including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling for site and head office roles (engineers, supervisors, staff, etc.).
  • Conduct

    initial HR interviews

    and assist in shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinate with department heads and project managers for manpower requirements.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Handle

    joining formalities

    , document collection, and employee induction.
  • Manage

    offboarding processes

    , including exit formalities, clearances, and experience letters.
  • Ensure smooth joining and exit processes for

    site-based and HO employees

    .

HR Operations & Records

  • Maintain and update

    employee records

    , files, and HR databases (attendance, personal details, documents).
  • Manage

    attendance, leave records, and shift data

    , including site-wise tracking.
  • Address routine employee queries related to HR policies, attendance, and leaves.

Payroll Support

  • Support payroll processing by

    collecting, verifying, and consolidating attendance data

    from multiple sites.
  • Coordinate with accounts/payroll teams to ensure accurate salary processing.
  • Assist in resolving payroll-related discrepancies.

HR Documentation

  • Prepare and issue

    HR letters

    such as offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, and experience letters.
  • Maintain proper documentation as per company standards.

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure adherence to

    company HR policies

    and basic labor law requirements applicable to construction sites.
  • Support compliance-related documentation when required (attendance, wage records, etc.).

Employee Engagement & Coordination

  • Assist in organizing

    training programs, meetings, inductions, and company events

    .
  • Address employee concerns professionally and help maintain a

    positive work environment

    .
  • Coordinate with site teams, project managers, and department heads for HR-related activities.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare

    HR reports

    such as manpower status, attendance summaries, recruitment status, and attrition reports.
  • Support the HR Manager/Management in day-to-day HR administration tasks.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate or Diploma in

    HR / Business Administration / Management

    .
  • Experience in

    construction, contracting, or site-based organizations

    preferred.
  • Good knowledge of

    attendance, payroll coordination, and HR documentation

    .
  • Strong communication and coordination skills. Comfortable working with

    multiple sites and field teams

    .
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws applicable to construction industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel / HR software (ERP exposure is a plus).
