Key Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Supervisor:

Supervision and Management:
Assign tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
Supervise and train housekeeping staff on cleaning methods, equipment use, and safety procedures.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Manage schedules and cover absences.
Address guest complaints and issues related to housekeeping.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Inspect rooms, hallways, lobbies, and common areas for cleanliness and order.
Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the facility.
Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Inventory and Supplies:
Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Order supplies and equipment as needed.
Ensure adequate stock levels to avoid shortages.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with staff and guests.
Participate in meetings and training sessions.
Other Duties:
Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
