Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and manage the housekeeping staff and ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are upheld throughout the premises. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, staff coordination, and consistent delivery of a clean and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff (room attendants, cleaners, laundry staff, etc.).
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, restrooms, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Assign duties and schedules to housekeeping staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Train new staff members on housekeeping procedures and safety protocols.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and inventory; request procurement when needed.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or housekeeping-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain records of staff attendance, duty rosters, and performance.
  • Enforce company policies and safety standards among the housekeeping team.
  • Coordinate with the front office, maintenance, and laundry departments for smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (for record-keeping and reporting).
  • Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Experience in hotels, hospitals, or facility management industries is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping software or inventory systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
