Job Description

An Executive Housekeeper's responsibilities revolve around ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall maintenance of a facility, often within a hotel or residential setting. They lead and manage the housekeeping staff, implement and enforce standards, and handle various administrative and operational tasks to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.  Key Responsibilities: Staff Management: Supervising and coordinating the work of housekeeping staff (room attendants, laundry personnel, etc.).  Developing and managing cleaning schedules and staff rotations.  Recruiting, hiring, and training housekeeping staff.  Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.  Addressing and resolving staff-related issues.  Quality Control and Standards: Setting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for all areas.  Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.  Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.  Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other necessary items.  Ensuring timely ordering and restocking of supplies.  Budget Management: Developing and managing the housekeeping department budget.  Controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.  Guest Relations: Addressing and resolving guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping.  Ensuring guest satisfaction with the cleanliness and condition of their accommodations.  Operational Tasks: Developing and implementing housekeeping procedures and standards.  Coordinating with other departments (e.g., front office, maintenance) to ensure seamless operations.  Maintaining records and documentation related to housekeeping operations.  Training and Development: Providing ongoing training to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.  Ensuring staff are knowledgeable about established standards and procedures.  Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies for maximizing efficiency and improving service delivery.  Contributing to the overall strategic planning and objectives of the housekeeping department.
