Job SummaryThe Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest rooms, dormitories, and common areas. The role demands attention to detail, discipline, and an energetic attitude that aligns with goSTOPS’ youthful and vibrant environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Guest Room & Dorm Maintenance Clean, organize, and maintain dorms, private rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily. Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as per brand standards. Perform deep cleaning as scheduled (e.g., mattresses, curtains, carpets, etc.). 2. Common Area & Property Upkeep Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in reception, lounges, kitchen, terrace, and corridors. Ensure dusting, mopping, sweeping, and garbage disposal are done regularly. Report any maintenance issues (lighting, plumbing, furniture, etc.) to the Property Manager immediately. 3. Laundry Management Handle guest and property laundry as per protocols. Maintain records of linen usage and ensure adequate inventory. 4. Hygiene & Safety Compliance Follow all safety, sanitation, and COVID-appropriate protocols. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly. Maintain proper waste segregation and eco-friendly practices as per goSTOPS sustainability guidelines. 5. Guest Interaction Greet guests politely when encountered in the property. Assist guests with minor housekeeping requests (towels, extra pillows, etc.). Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor representing goSTOPS hospitality values. Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Minimum 10th Pass (Higher Secondary preferred). Certificate in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management is a plus. Experience: 0–2 years of housekeeping experience in hotels, hostels, or serviced apartments. Freshers with the right attitude are also welcome. Key Skills: Attention to detail and cleanliness. Time management and teamwork. Basic communication in English/Hindi. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Work Environment6-day working week with rotational shifts. Uniforms and meals provided as per company policy.
