Hotel Housekeeping Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our 4-star property in Daman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping operations, team management, and guest satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the hotel’s cleanliness and quality standards.
• Manage, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure smooth workflow and high productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and hotel premises to maintain hygiene, safety, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to address guest requests and operational needs promptly.
• Monitor inventory, control usage, and manage ordering of housekeeping supplies, linen, and amenities within budget.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping, ensuring quick resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain housekeeping reports, records, and logs for management review.
• Lead the team by example, promoting a culture of excellence, discipline, and teamwork.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• At least 1 year of prior experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Eye for detail, with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a large team effectively.
• Familiarity with housekeeping software and inventory systems will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Daman, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Housekeeping management: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• English, Hindi (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
