Hostel Warden

Requirement :

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Management, Education, Social Work).
• For school hostels, a background in teaching or counseling is often preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in hostel or residential facility management.
• Prior experience in student supervision or administrative roles is advantageous.
• Strong communication and leadership.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Empathy, patience, and ability to manage diverse groups.
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
• Ex-Army personnel.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Administration & Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations and maintenance.
• Allocate rooms and maintain resident records.
• Supervise housekeeping, security, and catering staff.
• Conduct regular inspections for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.

2. Student Welfare & Discipline

• Enforce hostel rules and regulations.
• Resolve conflicts and address grievances among residents.
• Ensure safety and discipline inside the hostel premises.
• Organize student welfare activities and counseling when needed.

3. Safety & Security

• Monitor entry/exit of visitors and residents.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety and emergency procedures.
• Report and handle emergencies or accidents immediately.

4. Coordination

• Liaise with management, parents, and academic staff.
• Prepare reports and maintain hostel records (attendance, maintenance logs, etc.).
• Coordinate with vendors for food, laundry, and maintenance services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
