Hostel Warden

1. Hostel Administration

• Manage day-to-day operations of the hostel.
• Maintain accurate records of residents, room allocations, and attendance.
• Oversee housekeeping and cleanliness of the hostel premises.

2. Discipline & Student Welfare

• Enforce hostel rules and maintain discipline among residents.
• Handle student grievances and resolve conflicts.
• Create a supportive and safe environment for students.

3. Safety & Security

• Monitor entry/exit of residents and visitors.
• Ensure proper security measures (CCTV, guards, fire safety protocols).
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical situations.

4. Coordination & Reporting

• Act as a liaison between students and management.
• Prepare reports on hostel occupancy, maintenance, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct periodic student meetings to discuss issues and improvements.

5. Financial & Inventory Management

• Manage hostel expenses within the allocated budget.
• Maintain an inventory of hostel furniture, appliances, and equipment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Graduate in any discipline(Preference for hospitality/administration background)
• Prior experience in hostel or residential facility management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain discipline and handle conflicts tactfully.
• Good problem- solving and decision-making skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Gender Preference: Male for Boys' Hostel/ Female for Girls' Hostel.
• Age Limit: 30 -50 years(flexible as per institutional policy)
• Language: Odia, Hindi & English

Work Conditions

• Full-time residential as per policy.
• Must be available during emergencies and willing to work beyond regular hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
