Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Landscape Planning & Design

Collaborate with architects and landscape designers to conceptualize and execute green layouts.
Recommend plant species, trees, shrubs, and grass varieties based on
soil conditions, climate, and project theme
.
Develop plantation schedules aligned with construction timelines.
Suggest creative
landscape features
such as vertical gardens, terrace gardens, water features, and ornamental plantings.

2. Horticultural Management

Supervise the
plantation, transplantation, and maintenance
of greenery across project sites.
Ensure soil preparation, mulching, fertilization, and irrigation practices are executed effectively.
Implement
pest and disease management
programs using eco-friendly solutions wherever possible.
Maintain
seasonal flowering cycles
to ensure year-round aesthetics.

3. Sustainability & Environmental Compliance

Integrate
sustainable landscaping practices
like drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and native plant selection.
Promote biodiversity by choosing pollinator-friendly and drought-resistant species.
Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and guidelines.

4. Vendor & Team Management

Liaise with
nurseries, horticultural vendors, and contractors
for procurement and maintenance services.
Train and manage site-based
gardening and maintenance teams
.
Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality parameters for landscaping deliverables.

5. Ongoing Landscape Maintenance

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure plant health and landscape upkeep.
Plan and manage
annual maintenance contracts (AMC)
for landscaped areas.
Maintain records of
plant inventories, soil tests, irrigation schedules, and pest control activities
.
