About the Role

As the HOD for PLC Programming & Design, you will lead
the PLC and control systems engineering function across projects, ensuringrobustness, scalability, and integration with our IoT / analyticsinfrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead
and manage the PLC programming & control systems design team.
Oversee
design, development, and commissioning of PLC automation systems (incl. Allen\u2011Bradley platforms).
Provide
architectural guidance for control systems in mechanical / packaging machinery.
Ensure
integration between PLC / SCADA / MES / edge systems.
Mentor
junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and ensure best practices.
Coordinate
with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for seamless system integration.
Conduct
troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in existing systems.
Stay
updated with new PLC / automation technologies, evaluate for adoption.
Drive
standardization, modularization, and reuse of control modules.
Participate
in hiring, training, and performance evaluation of the team.
