HOD Maintenance for Factory

As an experienced HOD Maintenance at a leading manufacturing firm, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Utility maintenance functions of a Ferro Silicon plant equipped with Submerged Arc Furnaces (SAF) at 132KV level. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the plant machinery and operations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all plant machinery. - Ensure uptime and smooth functioning of Submerged Arc Furnaces, transformers, compressors, hydraulic systems, cranes, gearboxes, DG sets, etc. - Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules. - Ensure timely availability of spares and critical equipment. - Provide technical support to the Production team for furnace operations. - Coordinate shutdowns and ensure minimal production loss. - Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments. - Review and approve purchase indent for spares and maintenance materials. - Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement. - Maintain daily maintenance logs, machinery history records, and downtime reports. - Present monthly maintenance performance reports to management. - Plan and manage maintenance budgets. Candidate Requirements: - Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, or related fields. - Minimum 6-12 years of maintenance experience in heavy industries. Mandatory Qualifications: - Experience in Ferro Alloys / Ferro Silicon / Steel / Submerged Arc Furnace plants. - Must be willing to work full-time at the Byrnihat, Meghalaya plant. Additional Details: - You will be required to reside at the plant premises in Byrnihat, Meghalaya, with bachelor's accommodation and food provided by the company. - Service Contract: 15-month service bond (mandatory for this role). - Immediate joiners preferred.
