Hiring Sr. Manager- Food Lab operations

Job Responsibilities:

• Lab Operations Management: Oversee complete laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with quality standards. Manage daily operations in line with overall laboratory turnaround time (TAT) goals; prioritize tasks based on urgency and strategic importance, including hiring and staffing decisions.
• Team Leadership: Effectively manage a team of approximately 40+ employees, providing clear direction, support, and performance monitoring.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with regulatory standards including ISO 17025, EIC, FSSAI, APEDA, Tea Board, Spice Board, IOPEPC, and others as applicable.
• Customer Support: Handle customer queries, complaints, and feasibility assessments with professionalism and technical competence.
• Task Delegation & Execution: Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure timely completion of tasks to meet operational deadlines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure delivery of quality results with accurate turnaround times; uphold lab integrity and precision in reporting.
• Key Account Liaison: Liaise with key clients to explain testing principles, result accuracy, reproducibility, and technical details as required.
• Sales Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team across India to provide technical inputs and timely solutions that support business development and client acquisition.
• Month-End Closing: Take ownership of month-end activities, ensuring all reports, data, and performance metrics are accurately consolidated.
• Audit Readiness: Prepare for and successfully complete internal and external audits in compliance with EIC, APEDA, Tea Board, and other regulatory bodies across integrated scopes.
• Method Development & Expansion: Lead new method development initiatives and support scope expansion; provide technical guidance and mentoring to laboratory staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,264,716.18 - ₹1,785,010.59 per year
