Hiring Senior Functional Consultant - Microsoft Business Central - HYD

We are seeking a Functional Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Dynamics 365 BC, AL Programming, Azure, and SQL and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. In this role, you will work closely with functional and technical teams to define test strategies, execute test cases, validate integrations, and ensure seamless data flow between systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining data accuracy, system reliability, and overall product quality by identifying defects, addressing quality issues, and recommending necessary improvements. What Consultant you will Do: Define and execute functional, integration, and regression testing for BC solutions. Identify defects, analyse root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and overall product quality. Validate data mapping, transformation, and synchronization processes Collaborate closely with the product team, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define clear acceptance criteria and business case scenarios, ensuring the delivery of high-quality features Perform end-to-end testing of business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Management modules Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and release management. Perform defect triage meetings with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to help categorize bugs based on severity, priority, and impact on the system Implement automation testing to streamline regression processes and reduce reliance on manual efforts. What You Need to Be Successful: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Business Central. In-depth understanding of BC modules, including Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, and Sales. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and working with cross-functional teams. Experience in DevOps management, including setting up test plans, test suites, and maintaining test execution cycles. Knowledge in AL programming for Business Central development, including customization, APIs, OData, and Web Services. Knowledge of integration tools and middleware (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate). Knowledge of database technologies (SQL) and data transformation techniques. Knowledge of automation tools and programming languages (AL/TypeScript). Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, along with experience in DevOps, Pipelines, and PowerShell. Understanding of Business Central architecture, the underlying transactions, and business logic Understanding of financial, supply chain, and manufacturing modules in Business Central Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Jobs, and Manufacturing. Understand and participate in the functional design, configuration, and testing of Business Central modules. Conduct end-to-end system testing, including functional and integration testing, to ensure solution quality. Collaborate with developers and technical consultants to test new functionalities and third-party integrations. Troubleshoot integration issues, identify data sync failures, and provide root cause analysis and resolutions. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and validate system releases. Troubleshoot functional issues, identify root causes, and provide timely and effective resolutions.
