Experience: 10-20years Location and Work Mode: Pune/Bangalore, Hybrid Job Location: About this Role The Project Manager is accountable for leading the full lifecycle management of one or more projects. The Project Manager is responsible for executing all aspects of diverse, complex projects across a matrix environment of teams from Group Technology and worldwide OpCos. The Project Manager has accountability for ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of new and enhanced products that meet expectations. Who are you You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of on-time, on-budget, and to-specification delivery of projects. You have extensive experience in managing multiple and complex projects across the full lifecycle of IT product development in international matrix environments. You possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and are able to deliver concise summaries of complex scenarios/information to a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, up to and including director level, to drive decisions and deliver results. What you will do Lead all aspects of Project Management including scope definition, detailed project planning, financial management, building and managing international matrix teams, and stakeholder management. Ensure adherence to the project management governance process and demonstrate best practice in all aspects of project management. Provide accurate progress reporting and issue/risk management with timely and effective escalation. Engage and manage numerous external third parties alongside internal matrix teams. Ensure outstanding quality and continuous improvement of the delivery model by proposing and driving transformation. What skills you need 10+ years of IT industry experience with 7+ years in Infrastructure/Cyber project management. 5+ years of experience in Vodafone IT and working technical knowledge of its services (preferable). Bachelor's degree in IT or experience within an IT environment (at overview/understanding level). Prince 2/PMP/Agile/PM certifications. Ability to use both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and toolsets (PPM, Remedy, Jira, etc.), including Hybrid. Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure project delivery lifecycle, including data centre installations. Experience in software and hardware integrations, transformations, migrations, and consolidations. Understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, storage, cloud services). Knowledge of hardware and software integration, data centre racking/cabling standards, VMWare vSphere/ESXi virtualisation technologies, SAN/NAS storage solutions (NetApp and Dell EMC), basic Microsoft and Linux skills, LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, VPNs, and firewall configurations. Network design and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of IPv6 addressing, routing, and design. Good knowledge of on-prem data centre design. Conversant in Cloud technologies (both on-prem and off-prem) including hosting and routing. Working technical knowledge of Kubernetes, including pipelines. Experience in Cyber Security standards and protocols, Cyber Security device design and management, network security protocols, and firewall configurations. Good working knowledge of CyberArk, PAM, and IDS/IDPS systems. What skills you will learn Understanding of cyber security or infrastructure, operations, standards, and/or best practices. Large scale program and project management.
