Hiring Internal Auditor- Manufacturing II FMCG II 6 days WFO

Role & responsibilities

Audit Execution & Reporting

• Plan and conduct internal audits across manufacturing operations, inventory, procurement, sales, finance, and supply chain functions, per audit schedules and frameworks.
• Execute audits including fieldwork, testing, documentation, root cause analysis, and reporting of findings with clarity and actionable recommendations.
  
• Support or lead audits, ensuring timely delivery of audit reports and effective communication of findings to stakeholders.
  

Risk & Control Evaluation

• Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, identify process efficiencies, and spotlight control deficiencies.
  
• Evaluate IT applications, SAP modules, and other tech-based controls to ensure robust control environments.
  
• Apply established frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT) to structure audit procedures and evaluations.
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Follow-Up

• Interact with process owners and cross-functional teams to understand business operations and collaboratively address audit observations.
• Support the implementation of remediation action plans and perform follow-up assessments to gauge improvements.
  

Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Draft comprehensive audit reports with well-supported observations, root causes, and clear recommendations.
  
• Ensure factual accuracy and consult with senior audit colleagues to uphold report quality and consistency.
  

Process Improvement & Benchmarking

• Identify control enhancements and suggest measures to strengthen and optimize processes across manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions.
  
• Benchmark with global or regional internal audit teams to share best practices and elevate audit quality.
  

Travel & Administrative Duties

• Be prepared for moderate travel to manufacturing plants and other locations (often 5070%), to conduct audits onsite.
