Position Title: Trainer

Department: Learning & Development / Operations

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The Trainer will design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs that enhance the capabilities of internal teams across the staffing lifecycle. The role requires strong proficiency in process training, soft skills development, business communication, and English language fluency. The Trainer will ensure new hires and existing employees are equipped with the knowledge, behaviors, and customer-centric mindset essential to excel in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Conduct engaging and structured training sessions on staffing processes, recruitment workflows, ATS usage, sourcing methodologies, and compliance norms.
  • Deliver soft skills training covering communication, email etiquette, customer service, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and professional conduct.
  • Facilitate induction programs for new joiners, ensuring seamless transition and role clarity.
  • Use interactive methods such as role plays, simulations, case studies, and group discussions to enhance learning outcomes.

Training Design & Development

  • Develop training modules, manuals, job aids, SOPs, and assessments aligned with business needs.
  • Customize content for different roles: recruiters, coordinators, account managers, and support teams.
  • Continuously update training materials based on process updates, market trends, and stakeholder feedback.

Performance Assessment & Coaching

  • Evaluate learner performance through quizzes, assessments, live call audits, and on-the-job observations.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching for performance improvement and skill enhancement.
  • Track post-training performance metrics and collaborate with managers to drive capability development.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Recruitment Leads, Quality Teams, and HR to identify training needs.
  • Understand business priorities, talent gaps, and client requirements to tailor interventions.
  • Participate in calibration sessions to ensure process alignment and knowledge standardization across teams.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate training logs, attendance, assessments, and feedback.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards on training coverage, impact, learner progress, and action plans.
  • Ensure training records comply with internal audit and client requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

Training Expertise

  • Strong command over process training related to recruitment, staffing, sourcing, compliance, and client management.
  • Proficiency in soft skills training: communication, presentation, email writing, listening skills, workplace etiquette, and behavioral skills.

Communication & Language

  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Clear articulation, strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and flow of language.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage diverse learner groups.

Professional & Behavioral Skills

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
  • High energy, confidence, and ability to maintain learner engagement.
  • Empathy, patience, and adaptability to different learning styles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics.

Technical Skills

  • Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), LMS platforms, virtual training tools (Zoom, Teams).
  • Experience using ATS, CRM tools, or recruitment systems is an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline; certification in Training, L&D, or HR preferred.
  • 57 years of experience in training within staffing, recruitment, BPO, or corporate environments.
  • Prior experience in process training and soft skills training is mandatory.
  • Exposure to US, UK, or global staffing processes is an added advantage.
