Hiring for Project Manager - PES - Hyderabad Location.

Role & responsibilities

Job Overview:

As the Plant Engineering Project Manager / Vertical Head, you will lead and oversee engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and technical staff, optimizing cost and working processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will be crucial in maintaining vertical efficiency and achieving the company's strategic goals.

  • Coordinate with business team for RFQ addressing and technical presentation
  • support in the bidding stage of the projects
  • closely work with Business and Sales team to identify Standard and Key Accounts in a Financial year
  • Project

    Management:

  • Plan, execute, and close engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation with help of PMO
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Team

    Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Provide guidance and support in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing solutions.
  • Process

    Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance Team/project efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues and develop action plans to address them.
  • Budget

    and

    Resource

    Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  • Stakeholder

    Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and PMO.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). A Masters degree or relevant certifications (PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering project management within a service industries or relevant industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
