Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage all legal activities related to
land acquisition and project development
.
Conduct
title due diligence
and coordinate with external law firms.
Handle
litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution
matters.
Draft, review, and vet various agreements, contracts, and MoUs.
Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders for land and compliance matters.
Provide legal advice and risk assessment to internal departments.
Maintain updated knowledge of state and central laws relevant to renewable projects.

Preferred candidate profile

Prior experience in
solar, wind, or large-scale land-based projects
.
Exposure to
state-level legal procedures
in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

LLB/LLM
from a recognized university.
10+ years of experience
in legal functions, preferably in
renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
.
Proficient in
Kannada and Telugu
(both written and spoken).
Strong understanding of
land laws
,
company laws
, and
litigation processes
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
