Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Regulatory Knowledge:
Stay updated with relevant
RBI circulars, guidelines, and regulatory instructions
applicable to the Banks reporting requirements.
Return Preparation & Submission:
Learn, understand, and independently handle various
regulatory returns
submitted to RBI/other regulators at different frequencies (daily/fortnightly/monthly/quarterly/annual).
Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with
internal teams
(Finance, IT, Treasury, Credit, Risk, Operations, etc.) and
external stakeholders
to gather information, clarify requirements, and ensure timely submission of all reports.
Ad-hoc Regulatory Requirements:
Support and respond to
ad-hoc data requests
or clarifications received from regulators in addition to regular submissions.
Data Quality & Controls:
Develop a strong command over financial data and ensure
accuracy, consistency, and completeness
of data across all regulatory submissions.
Automation & Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to
automate regulatory returns and daily processes
to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Data Management & Discipline:

Preferred candidate profile

Understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks
Strong Excel skills; exposure to automation tools / other IT languages preferred
Proactive learner with a solution-oriented approach
