Job Description

As a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Simulation Manager at TE Connectivity, you will be a senior engineering leader responsible for overseeing a team of engineers who simulate and analyze high-speed PCB designs. Your primary role will be to ensure that all PCB layouts meet high standards for performance, reliability, and manufacturability before prototyping and mass production at competitive costs. **Responsibilities:** - Lead, mentor, and develop a simulation team for signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, RFI, and thermal incidents. - Define and implement simulation methodologies and best practices for accuracy and efficiency. - Provide technical direction on simulation tasks and result interpretations for high-speed interfaces, power delivery, EMC, RFI, and thermal management. - Conduct design and simulation reviews, providing strategic recommendations for optimization. - Collaborate with global hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to translate product requirements into viable PCB designs. - Drive innovation and improvement in the PCB simulation process. - Independently manage multiple complex PCB simulation projects to meet deadlines and performance targets. - Ensure accuracy in simulations through quality management practices. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering from a premier institute/university. - Around 15 years of hands-on experience in high-speed PCB simulation. - Proficiency in simulation tools like Ansys SIwave/HFSS, Keysight Pathwave ADS, Cadence Sigrity, etc. - Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design principles, SI, PI, EMC, RFI, and thermal incidents. - Familiarity with PCB design and layout tools and industry standards. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative global environment.
