Healthcare Business Analyst (Remote – Night Shift)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst with strong expertise in EDI transactions, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare claims processing. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze business requirements, and ensure smooth data integration across healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business requirements related to healthcare EDI (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277) transactions.
• Support claims processing, enrollment, and eligibility workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data exchange standards.
• Coordinate between technical teams and business users to translate requirements into system specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis, process improvements, and root cause analysis for data or workflow discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and documentation to support project deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the US Healthcare domain.
• Strong understanding of EDI file formats and healthcare claim life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with HIPAA 5010 standards and X12 transactions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams in different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with healthcare payer or provider systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or SQL for data analysis.
• Certification in healthcare or business analysis is a plus.
