Job Description

Role & responsibilities Leadership : 1. Lead and manage a team of substation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure their growth and development. 2. Supervise and manage departmental staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. 3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment 4. Encourage professional development and growth Project Engineering Management: 1. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of substation engineering works, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to industry standards. 2. Oversee day-to-day departmental operations 3. Manage budgets, resources, and workflows 4. Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to organizational policies Technical Expertise : 1. Provide technical leadership and expertise in substation engineering, including proposal engineering, detail engineering works for Electrical, Civil etc for AIS & GIS substations of upto 765kV voltage level. 2. Client Management: Liaison with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure client satisfaction. 3. Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and innovations, applying this knowledge to improve substation engineering designs, processes, and procedures. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all substation engineering works meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality assurance processes Implement quality control processes and monitor performance metrics Preferred candidate profile
