Your strategic mindset and results-oriented approach will be essential in developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize inventory levels, ensure efficient supply chain operations, and maximize profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management:** - Develop and implement sourcing strategies for all textile product categories, evaluating potential domestic suppliers. - Conduct due diligence on suppliers, assessing capabilities, quality standards, ethical practices, and financial stability. - Monitor vendor performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance. - Identify new sourcing opportunities to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve lead times. - **Demand Planning & Forecasting:** - Develop accurate demand forecasting models for all textile product lines, considering historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality. - Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to align sourcing plans with sales projections. - Monitor inventory levels, identifying potential stock outs or overstock situations and implementing proactive measures. - Implement inventory management policies to optimize stock efficiency and minimize carrying costs. - **Supply Chain Optimization:** - Oversee the entire supply chain process from raw material sourcing to finished goods delivery. - Implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency. - Collaborate with logistics and warehousing teams for timely and cost-effective transportation and storage. - **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** - Establish stringent quality control standards for all textile products. - Ensure vendors adhere to quality specifications and conduct regular inspections. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability initiatives. - **Cost Management & Budgeting:** - Develop and manage the sourcing and procurement budget. - Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality. - **Team Leadership & Development:** - Identify training needs for team members to enhance their skills in the textile industry and supply chain management. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
