Job Description

As the Head of Sales at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and drive growth. Your focus will be divided, with 80% dedicated to sales activities and 20% to operations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets across multiple market segments or regions. - Drive profitable growth in all Lines of Business (LOBs) and segments by collaborating with the salesforce and designing AOP. - Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and business leaders through regular face-to-face meetings. - Provide supervision, coaching, and support to the sales team to ensure goal achievement and timely sales pipeline closure. - Manage budgets for the sales and marketing departments and collaborate with the Business Development team for successful product launches. - Coordinate marketing campaigns to generate excitement and demand for new products. - Ensure all sales and marketing activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. - Monitor inventory levels to meet customer demand and achieve or exceed organizational targets. Qualifications and Competencies: - Strategic Vision: Develop a forward-looking sales and marketing strategy aligned with business goals. - Leadership: Lead and inspire a team to achieve targets and implement effective campaigns. - Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and lead generation strategies. - Articulating Value Proposition: Explain and demonstrate products to meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors. - Financial Acumen: Apply understanding of financial indicators to make informed business decisions. - Market Knowledge: Understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. - Customer-Centric Approach: Tailor sales and marketing efforts to meet customer needs effectively. - Team Management: Delegate tasks and foster a collaborative work environment. - Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand reach. - Budget Management: Allocate resources effectively and optimize return on investment. - Negotiation Skills: Secure partnerships and deals for dealership growth and profitability. - Ethical Conduct: Uphold ethical standards in all sales and marketing activities. Education and Experience: - University or college degree in Sales, Marketing, Technical, or related subject required. - MBA degree in Sales & Marketing preferred. - Minimum 15+ years of sales experience with aftermarket sales experience. - Relevant work experience as a sales representative is desirable. Key Performance Indicators: - AOP achievement and % growth over AOP. - Profitability growth achievement. - Segment/LOB AOP achievement and growth. - Net Promoter Score for both employees and customers.
