Job Summary:

• The Head of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing strategy for film capacitors, driving revenue growth in new & existing markets, and expanding market share.
• This role demands good knowledge and connect, with the end users of plastic film capacitors in various applications, such as industrial, automotive, renewable energy, power electronics, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies aligned with the company objectives.
• Develop new markets and maintain existing business in segments of Railways, EV, Renewable Energy (Wind, Solar), power electronics, motor drives, appliances, energy meter, EMS, fans / fan regulators / BLDC etc.
• Support the sales and marketing team for growth in sales, receivables etc. Drive growth through distributors and direct OEMs.
• Lead price strategy, negotiations and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Oversee creation of technical datasheets, product catalogues, presentations and other digital content.
• Plan and execute marketing events / exhibitions etc.
• Co-ordinate with R&D on new product introductions, customization based on market needs and customer specific requirements.
• Work closely with production, and quality teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Provide market feedback for product development, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure co-ordination between sales forecasting and production planning.

Qualifications

• Education

  : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Graduate in any discipline.

• Experience:

  Minimum 10-15 years in sales / marketing roles within the electronic components industry (manufacturer / distributor), whose customer base is of segments in Railways, Automotive, Renewable Energy (Wind, Solar), Appliances, Power Electronics, Energy meters, UPS/Inverters etc. , with at least the last 5 years, on all India basis.
