Head Operations (Seamless Garment)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Collaborate with production planning teams to align production schedules with customer demand and overall production requirements. Monitor production processes to ensure they are running efficiently and in accordance with quality standards. Oversee all aspects of the Seamless garment operations, including knitting, stitching, inspection and dispatch. Manage production teams and resources to meet production targets. Monitor and evaluate product quality through inspections, testing, and process improvements. Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including human resources, machinery, raw materials, and utilities. Implement corrective actions in case of quality issues and non-conformities. Ensure efficient inventory management to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Plan for workforce requirements, machinery upgrades, and facility expansions. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and innovations in seamless techniques to drive continuous improvement. Manage the budget for the Manufacturing department, ensuring that expenses are controlled and resources are allocated effectively. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize seamless processes, improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on performance, achievements, and challenges. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
