Job Summary:

techno-commercial operations

You will work closely with yard teams, conduct equipment assessments, and play an active role in the physical handling and processing of high-value components. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and comfortable being hands-on in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage a dedicated area for the dismantling and processing of offshore equipment.
• Lead the dismantling and recovery of systems such as

  jack-up legs, pumps, winches, compressors, helidecks

  , and other offshore structures.
• Identify components with reuse or resale potential, based on technical condition and market demand.
• Conduct hands-on assessments and coordinate

  testing, packaging, and documentation

  for equipment destined for resale.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and valuation documents for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with the

  Dubai-based counterpart

  , who will perform final checks on equipment condition and assist with

  export coordination and buyer engagement

  .
• Ensure all activities are in line with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Engage directly with yard teams to streamline workflows and ensure timely execution.

Qualification & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Mechanical Engineering

  or

  Marine Engineering

  , with demonstrated experience in marine/offshore equipment refurbishment.
• Additional certifications will be considered.

Required Experience & Expectations:

• Minimum of

  5 years

  of experience in offshore/marine environments, with practical exposure to equipment handling, dismantling, or maintenance.
• Solid understanding of offshore assets such as jack-up rigs, semi-submersibles, and their onboard systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic and testing tools (e.g., pressure testing, alignment tools, vibration analysis).
• Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
