Head of Supply

As a Head of Supply at Deccan AI, your role will involve leading and scaling the supply function to drive operational excellence and business growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing supply strategies aligned with business goals. Your key qualifications and experience should include: - Minimum 8 years of general management experience with proven leadership at a senior level - Prior startup experience is essential, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments - Demonstrated experience in leading mid-sized teams of 10 or more people effectively - Top-tier educational credentials, preferably from IITs or equivalent institutions - Strong problem-solving skills; experience in management consulting is a strong plus - A hardcore executor mindset, owning end-to-end responsibility for the supply function - Willingness and ability to work long hours dedicated to building and scaling the function Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the supply team and owning the overall supply chain, procurement, and vendor management processes - Developing and implementing strategies to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply aligned with business goals - Collaborating cross-functionally with product, operations, and finance teams to optimize supply metrics - Driving continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies in supply management - Building, mentoring, and growing a high-performing supply team that can meet the demands of rapid scale This role requires passion, resilience, and exceptional execution skills to navigate critical growth phases and operational challenges.
