Head of Quality Control

As the Quality Control Head, you play a crucial role in ensuring that all rugs and carpets produced by the company meet the required quality standards, client specifications, and compliance regulations. Your responsibilities involve overseeing the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance teams, developing quality protocols, conducting audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to consistently deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, update, and enforce quality policies, SOPs, and inspection standards in alignment with customer expectations and certifications. - Collaborate with production and design teams to integrate quality standards into the manufacturing process. - Conduct regular audits, both random and scheduled, to verify compliance across production units and finishing departments. - Verify samples, bulk batches, and finished products against client specifications and internal standards. - Lead and supervise the QC Executive in conducting inspections at various production stages. - Oversee testing procedures for raw materials, dyes, and finished goods as per quality norms. - Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions. - Coordinate with external labs or certification agencies when required. - Analyze quality data to identify recurring issues, root causes, and areas for process improvement. - Initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and rework rates. - Support the implementation of best practices and industry standards for quality management. - Lead, mentor, and evaluate QC and QA executives, providing ongoing training to enhance their skills. - Set performance KPIs for the quality team, conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of quality excellence. - Promote a quality-first mindset across all production and finishing staff.
