Responsibilities :-

Department Leadership:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the moulding department team.
• Set departmental goals and objectives aligned with overall organizational targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize moulding processes for efficiency and quality improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department.

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the moulding department, including scheduling, production planning, and resource allocation.
• Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and production deadlines.
• Collaborate with other department heads to streamline workflows and optimize overall manufacturing operations.

Technical Expertise:

• Possess a deep understanding of moulding processes, equipment, and materials.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to moulding equipment and processes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to mould designs, materials, and production techniques to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Knowledge of Production department of foundry, Like Alphaset No-Bake Moulding, CO2 Moulding, Green Sand Moulding, Core Shop.

Team Development:

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of moulding technicians and operators.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth and development.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production planning, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of moulding activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source moulding materials and equipment, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (20 years) in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, with specific expertise in moulding processes.
• In-depth knowledge of injection moulding, compression moulding, or other relevant moulding techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
