Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day distillery operations including fermentation, distillation, and evaporation processes.
Monitor and optimize process parameters to achieve higher yields, better efficiency, and lower production costs.
Ensure consistent product quality in line with regulatory and customer specifications.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize equipment breakdowns.
Prepare and execute production plans based on raw material availability and demand forecasts.
Ensure full compliance with excise, safety, and environmental regulations, and maintain required documentation.
Track and control consumption of utilities such as steam, water, and power to reduce wastage and operating expenses.
Lead, supervise, and train plant personnel including shift engineers and operators for better performance.
Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain safety, hygiene, and operational discipline.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process automation, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
