About the Role We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong exposure to Greenfield Projects in the pharmaceutical / process industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in design coordination, vendor management, equipment erection, and piping execution for large-scale industrial projects (worth 250 Cr+). This role involves close coordination with consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution from design to commissioning. Key Responsibilities 1. Design & Documentation Coordinate with consultants for design reviews and approvals. Review and validate Mechanical Data Sheets (MDS) for equipment. Prepare and verify RFQs (Request for Quotation) for mechanical equipment and systems. Develop and check piping specifications in line with project requirements. 2. Vendor & Procurement Management Evaluate vendor drawings and technical offers. Coordinate with vendors for compliance, quality, and delivery timelines. Support procurement in techno-commercial evaluations. 3. Project Execution Equipment & Piping Supervise and monitor equipment erection, piping fabrication, and erection activities. Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety practices, and quality norms. Conduct inspections for fabrication and erection activities. 4. Structural Fabrication & Erection Review structural fabrication drawings. Oversee execution of steel structure fabrication and erection. Ensure compliance with structural safety codes. 5. Project Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with internal stakeholders – Civil, Electrical, Process & Project teams. Maintain project schedules, progress reports, and site documentation. Assist in resolving technical queries during execution.

Piping codes & standards (ASME/ANSI). Vendor drawing review & documentation. Erection & commissioning procedures. Ability to coordinate with consultants and vendors independently. Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. --- Compensation & Benefits CTC: 18 – 20 LPA (based on experience & performance).
