Head of Machine Shop (CNC + Conventional Macnine)

Post Offered: - A.G.M. TO D.G.M. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and lead a team of machinists, ensuring that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently. 2. 2. Plan and schedule production activities, ensuring that deadlines are met and customer requirements are fulfilled. 3. 3. Monitor and maintain the performance of CNC and conventional machines, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime. 4. 4. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all machine shop activities, ensuring consistency and quality. 5. 5. Collaborate with the engineering team to review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring accurate production specifications. 6. 6. Evaluate and optimize machining processes, continuously seeking improvements in efficiency and productivity. 7. 7. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all finished products meet the required specifications. 8. 8. Train and mentor machinists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge. 9. 9. Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials and tools for production. 10. 10. Stay updated with the latest advancements in machining technology and techniques, and implement relevant improvements where applicable. 11. Must be experienced in heavy plano miller machines. 12. Must be Experienced in the machining of Manganese Steel Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a Machinist, with expertise in both CNC and conventional machining. 3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate a team. 4. In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tools. 5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. 6. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and programming for CNC machines. 7. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 8. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 9. Strong organizational and time management skills. 10.
